Anne Schwanewilms is one of the world's leading lyric sopranos, and needed a site that enhanced her rising profile.
Much of her work is in opera productions, and the sumptuous red and gold design reflected the rich interiors in most opera houses. Because of the strong visual sense in opera productions, a site with lots of audio and video seemed appropriate, and together we picked the best photos, audio excerpts and video excerpts to put on the site.
All of the audio and video content is embedded using Flash, meaning that the vast majority of browsers can display it, unlike other streaming media software. The embedded player can also be controlled by keyboard commands, meaning greater accessibility.
